The itinerary

Day 01

Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay and Thien Canh Son Cave

7:30-7:45: Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter and leave for the cruise.
12:30: Arrive at the Paloma office in Halong City. Board the boat and check in for the cruise.
13:30: Have lunch while cruising through the magnificent Bai Tu Long Bay. Sail past various islets, including the Indochina and Am Islets of Bai Tu Long Bay.
15:15-15:40: Visit and explore Thien Canh Son Cave, with an optional kayaking experience near the cave.
18:00: Enjoy a sunset party aboard the Paloma Cruise, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Tai Chi, Vung Vieng Fishing Village, and Return to Hanoi

06:15: Start your day with Tai Chi on the sundeck, along with complimentary tea, coffee, and breakfast.
07:45-09:00: Explore Vung Vieng Fishing Village and learn about the daily life of the fishing communities here on a one-hour bamboo boat ride. There is also a short visit to the Pearl Farm to learn how natural pearls are grown. No swimming is included.
10:00: Indulge in a Vietnamese cooking class.
10:30: Enjoy an early lunch in the dining room. Settle your bills after lunch and relax for the remainder of the Halong Bay cruise before returning to the harbour area.
11:45: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbour and proceed with the drive back to Hanoi city, with an estimated arrival at 16:30.

Know before you go

Inclement weather, tide levels, and operating conditions at sea may force changes in the cruise itinerary and schedule at any time. Swimming excursions, in particular, may be cancelled due to rough weather.
The cruise offers fusion cuisine: international, seafood, and Vietnamese. Please advise at least one week ahead of departure about any specific food preferences, dietary restrictions, or food allergies.
Port authorities insist on advance registration including full name, gender, date of birth, nationality, and passport number. At check-in, a valid passport is required. Port authorities may deny boarding if these conditions are not met.
Free Wi-Fi is available on the terrace deck, but please note that the internet signal at sea is frequently interrupted.
Cruise cancellation due to bad weather: 1) If the cancellation is informed before you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay (and you have not used any service yet), you will receive a 100% refund. 2) If the cancellation is informed during the trip (after some services such as transfer, lunch, day trip, or hotel in Halong have already been used), only the fee for those services will be charged and the remaining amount will be refunded.
Children under 4 years old are charged at the FOC rate, children from 5-12 years old will be charged 75% of the adult price, and children aged 12 years and older will be charged the full adult price.
A compulsory surcharge applies for occasional events: USD 25 per adult and USD 15 per child, including Christmas Eve (24th Dec), New Year's Eve (31st Dec), and Vietnam Tet Holiday.
