Day 04

Penang Island to Cameron Highlands

8am Depart for the Cameron Highlands, a hill resort with large tea plantations, farmlands, and scattered aborigines. En route, enjoy a bonus visit to the adorable orangutans, subject to availability. Day 06

Catch a boat as the boatman negotiates rapid-shooting, gushing waters to reach an aborigine village. Watch fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations done the native way, and you can partake in the activities. The aborigines are naive people, and the rainforest is their supermarket. Your Nature Guide will share facts and taboos of Taman Negara as he leads you to mesmerizing rainforest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever. Return to your hotel. Free and easy.

7

During the 15th century, the Chinese and Indian migrants married into the locals and created their very own identity - the Peranakans and the Chittys. A walkabout of Jonkers' Street is a must. Check in to your hotel. Free and easy. You may revisit Jonkers' Street on your own later.
