Day by day

The itinerary

Day 01

Tràng An Boat Ride, Mua Cave, and Tuyet Tinh Coc

Meet your Vietnamese tour guide at 8:00 am. Pickup will be from your hotel in the Old Hanoi area by bus.
Drive toward the Ninh Bình area.
On the way, stop for a short break before arriving in Tràng An for an exciting sampan boat ride through the caves.
Relish a buffet lunch of Vietnamese cuisine at a local restaurant.
Cycle toward Mua Cave. Walk up 500 uneven limestone steps to the top of the mountain for panoramic views of Tam Coc, Tràng An, and Ninh Bình City from Ngoa Long Mountain.
Continue to the Tuyet Tinh Coc (Am Tien) area. Enjoy lake views, rocky cliffs, Am Tien Pagoda, and cave formations with stalactites.
Return to the bungalow restaurant to attend a cooking class on how to make local cakes.
Relax with a swim before dinner at 19:00. If interested, you can also enjoy a night out at a local bar.

Day 02

Cúc Phương National Park Trek and Cave Exploration

Start your day at 6:30 with stunning sunrise views and breakfast.
Take a bus ride to Cúc Phương National Park, located in Ninh Bình Province in Vietnam's Red River Delta. This is Vietnam's first national park and also the country's largest nature reserve. See a variety of primates, mammals, Asiatic black bears, wild dogs, elephants, rhinos, tigers, and bird species in their natural environment.
Enjoy a local lunch at a restaurant based on your guide's recommendations.
Go on a trekking trip into the heart of the jungle to visit the One-Thousand-Year-Old Tree (Parashrea Stellata) and then the Cave of Prehistoric Man, if time allows. Trekking in these areas is quite adventurous, so come prepared.
At 19:00, return to your hotel.
