Bai Dinh Temple Complex and Tràng An Boat Ride
Between 8:00 and 8:30 am, your Vietnamese tour guide will pick you up from your hotel by bus and proceed towards Ninh Binh.
There will be a short break where you can visit the Bai Dinh temple complex. This spiritual and cultural complex consists of Buddhist temples and is located in the Bai Dinh Mountains, where you can enjoy fantastic scenic views, especially of the river valley below. You can see both the new and the original Bai Đính temple. The original Bai Đính pagoda is located about 800 meters from the new temple, and the path ascends over 300 stone steps, passing through an ornamental gate before reaching the entrance.
A buffet lunch with Vietnamese cuisine will follow at a local restaurant.
Next, you will continue to Tràng An for an exciting boating trip on sampan boats through the caves.
Enjoy river views and picturesque mountain scenery. The water here is clear enough to see aquatic plants living on the river bed.
Continue to the Bungalow restaurant for an exciting cooking class on making a local cake.
Relax, read books, or go for a swim before dinner at 19:00.
If interested, you can also go to a local bar later on.
