  • Entrance fee - 26 PLN. Admission to the Jewish Historical Institute and the Jewish Cemetery is charged per person and costs 12 PLN for the Jewish Institute, 8 PLN for the Cemetery, and 6 PLN for the Synagogue.

  • Lunch expenses, if required, between 15 PLN and 40 PLN, payable by credit card.

Know before you go

  • The Warsaw ghetto was divided into 2 sections - the Small Ghetto and the Large Ghetto, where 450,000 Jews were forced to live in very crowded conditions. By the time deportations to the extermination camps began, about 100,000 residents of the ghetto had died of starvation or disease. After 1943, the ruins of the ghetto were levelled, and a new residential district was built right on top of them.
