Mount Kenya rises to about 5199 m and, as such, is the tallest mountain in Kenya. The mountain has been recognized as a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site and a wildlife sanctuary.
Lake Nakuru National Park was once described as the most fabulous bird spectacle globally. It spans an attractive range of wooded and bush grassland around the lake, offering wide ecological diversity - from the lake waters and woodland to the rocky escarpment and ridges.
Maasai Mara: A spectacle worth seeing is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelles from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and Mara River to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields. The dramatic river crossing and predators preying on the migrants can be viewed from early June to August. The Mara also has thousands of species of birdlife and plant life.
