Jerusalem's Sacred Sites and Historic Museums
Visit the 3,000-year-old Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives with your Jerusalem tour guide. Enjoy panoramic views of the old and new city from here.
Enter the heritage site of the Old City and visit the Jewish Quarter, one of its four quarters, as well as the Western Wall (Wailing Wall).
Visit the local bazaar near Via Dolorosa and walk up to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Via Dolorosa is believed to be the path Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion and is a celebrated place of Christian pilgrimage. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre is another important site and is believed to be where Jesus of Nazareth was crucified.
Continue to either the Holocaust Museum or the Israel Museum. There, witness the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept.
