The itinerary
Day 02
Giza Pyramids and Old Cairo
After breakfast, begin your trip with a visit to the Giza Pyramids. This is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and, therefore, a must-see site.
Next, proceed to see the Great Sphinx of Giza, a limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human.
Continue for lunch at a local restaurant.
The next stop is the Egyptian Museum, where you can enjoy its extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities.
Your last stop for the day will be Old Cairo. Explore the Hanging Church, Coptic churches, and Ben Ezra Synagogue.
End your day with an overnight train ride to Aswan.
Day 03
Arrival in Aswan and Nile Cruise
Arrive at Aswan train station.
Spend the rest of the day on a special Nile Cruise boat.
Get enchanted by the glory of the High Dam, Philae Temple, and other scenic sights of Ancient Egypt and modern life along the banks of the Nile River.
Dinner and overnight stay onboard the Nile Cruise boat.
Day 04
Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna Sailing
After breakfast, sail to Kom Ombo. You will also see the Kom Ombo Temple along the way.
Witness the famed Horus Temple in Edfu. Edfu is an Egyptian city located on the west bank of the Nile River between Esna and Aswan.
Then, continue sailing to Esna.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be onboard the boat.
Day 05
Luxor and the Valley of the Kings
After breakfast, your first stop today will be Luxor, a city on the east bank of the Nile River. Sightsee the royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens.
The next incredible sight to watch out for is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, located near the Valley of the Kings.
Continue to see the Colossi of Memnon, which includes two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned in Egypt during Dynasty XVIII.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay will be on board the boat.
Day 06
Luxor Temples and Flight to Sharm
Have breakfast and visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple before proceeding to Luxor Airport for your flight to Sharm.
Hotel transfers and overnight stay in Sharm.
Day 07
Leisure Day in Sharm El-Sheikh
After breakfast, enjoy the rest of the day at Sharm El-Sheikh Resort with various water sports, including snorkelling, deep-sea diving, and swimming.
Overnight stay in Sharm El Sheikh.
Day 08
Return from Sharm El-Sheikh to Cairo
Airport transfer with the tour guide for your return flight to Cairo.
Hotel transfers and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 09
Departure from Cairo
Have breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to Cairo Airport to catch your return flight.
