Day by day
Pick-up at 07:00 am and drive north to Samburu National Reserve, arriving at around 1:00 pm in time for lunch.
Proceed for an afternoon game drive in search of Samburu's special five: the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and a host of big game, including elephant and lion.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Go on early morning and afternoon game drives. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya’s giraffe species - the rare reticulated giraffe, found only in the northern parks. This is also where you can see the blue-legged Somali ostrich, the long-necked gerenuk gazelle, and the straight-horned Beisa oryx antelope.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
Proceed for a game drive en route to Nairobi, arriving at around 4:00 pm.
Drop off at the hotel or airport for the onward flight.
