Explore the Ancient Wonders of Luxor's West Bank

  • Pick up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the West Bank of Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, an architectural marvel known for the tombs of King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah, and Amonhotep II.

  • Move on to the Valley of the Queens, located in Luxor on the West Bank of the River Nile, one and a half kilometres southwest of the Valley of the Kings. It is also known as Biban al Harim and Ta Set Neferu, which means "seat of beauty". It was built to house the tombs of the queens, princes, and princesses.

  • Arrive at the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the queen herself. She was the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490-1469 B.C.) and was the only pharaonic woman who reigned over ancient Egypt.
