The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and Transfer to Arusha

Your local guide will pick you up from the airport.

Transfer to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way there.
Stop at the picturesque park gate while the driver fills in the park registration book before you enter the park for an evening game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Panorama Budget Hotel.

Day 03

Karatu to Serengeti's Endless Plains

Have an early breakfast before driving to the Serengeti's endless plains for afternoon and sunset game drives in the park.
By late morning, arrive at the famed Serengeti National Park. The plains seem endless from this vantage point.
Stop to enjoy a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill before meandering through the wildlife-rich central Serengeti.

Later, relax at the campsite after dinner.

Day 04

Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park

Go for full-day game drives across the Serengeti's endless plains, with game viewing from sunrise to sunset.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Pimbi Public Campsite.

Day 05

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater and Karatu

Rise early for breakfast before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and spending the day exploring the crater floor.
To maximize your time on the crater floor, enjoy a special boxed lunch at a scenic picnic spot.
In the evening, ascend out of the crater and drive to Karatu, the Ngorongoro base, for dinner and an overnight stay. The lodge is on the Ngorongoro conservation boundary, and you may see elephants and buffaloes roaming around.

Day 06

Lake Manyara Game Drive and Departure to Kilimanjaro Airport

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for half-day game drives. Lake Manyara is among Tanzania's smallest parks.
Take a short break to enjoy a picnic lunch, and afterwards, drive back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home.
