The itinerary

Day 01

Tonlé Sap Lake, Artisan Crafts, and Sunset Views

Meet your local tour guide and take a boat ride on Tonlé Sap Lake. This is an excellent opportunity to see how the people of this village live.
Visit Les Artisan D'Angkor, a workshop that teaches the unique craft of wood and stone carving in the traditional style of classic Cambodian artistry.
If time permits, enjoy the sunset at Phnom Bakheng.

Welcome buffet dinner at a local restaurant with an Apsara Dance Show.

Day 02

Angkor Short Circuit and Temple Exploration

After breakfast, set off along what is known as the Angkor short circuit.
Visit stunning temples such as Ta Prohm, with its huge forest overgrowth.
Cycle along the Eastern Gate of Angkor Thom before exploring the famous Bayon Temple.
After relaxing for lunch, visit the splendid temple of Angkor Wat.

Day 03

Hariharalaya and Beng Melea Temple

Visit the remains of Hariharalaya, the first major capital of the Angkorian-era Khmer Empire. It is known as the Roluos Group due to its proximity to the modern town of Roluos.
Then proceed to visit Beng Melea Temple, which is located about 50 km from Siem Reap town.

Day 04

Kulen Mountain and Leisure Time

Explore Kulen Mountain, where Jayavarman II initiated the royal 'god of the king' linga cult in 802 AD, declaring a unified and independent Khmer Empire under a single ruler and beginning what would later become known as the Angkor period.
Spend half a day at your own leisure.

Day 05

Local Market Shopping and Departure

Enjoy shopping at the local markets.
Transfer to the airport.
