The itinerary

Day 01

Maseru to Hlotse via Tsikoane, Liphofung and Tsehlanyane

Depart Maseru to visit the Northern Parks, including Liphofung and Tsehlanyane.
Go via Tsikoane Village and hike to the side of the mountain in search of dinosaur footprints.
Continue to Liphofung Cave and Cultural Centre.
Transfer to the breathtaking Tsehlanyane Nature Reserve.

Day 02

Tsehlanyane Nature Reserve to Katse Dam

Travel to the multiple award-winning Katse Dam.
Tour the botanical garden on arrival.

Day 03

Katse Dam Complex and Kome Caves to Maseru

Tour the Katse Dam complex.
Travel to Maseru via Kome Caves. Visit this old village, whose inhabitants are direct descendants of the families who have been living there since the mid-1800s.
Proceed to Maseru for an overnight stay in the city.

Day 04

Thaba-Bosiu and Maletsunyane Falls Excursion

Visit Thaba-Bosiu, the birthplace of the Basotho nation, and get a chance to see the mountain that inspired the Basotho Hat.
Travel to Semonkong to visit the amazing Maletsunyane Falls.
Return to Maseru for an overnight stay.
