2-Day Tour of Tam Coc & Cuc Phuong National Park from Hanoi

07:30 to 08:00 - Meet your local tour guide at the hotel for pick up and depart to Hoa Lu - Tam Coc. 

Enjoy beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way.

10:30 - Arrive in Ninh Binh province. Visit the Dinh king temple and Le king temple. Find out the heroic histories of these two Kings in Chinese Wars.

Check-in the hotel and have lunch at a local restaurant.

Get on a bamboo boat, rowed by the local people, in Hoang Long river to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way.

Pass through the three enormous caves that provide a brief respite from the intense summer sun. It takes approximately two hours to go up and down the river and along the way, witness local fisher folk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations that Tam Coc is famous for.

07:00 - Wake up and have Vietnamese local food for breakfast. 

07:30 - Depart to Cuc Phuong National Park, which is one of the most popular natural tourist destinations in Vietnam. 

08:30 - Arrive at National park and visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. The primate centre was established in 1993 with the help of the Frankfurt Zoological Society and has grown to 100 animals in 30 cages, 4 houses and two semi-wild enclosures. 

11:30 - Have lunch at a local restaurant. 

Depart to the Park Centre and on the way, visit the Cave of Early Man.

Go on a long trek through the forest to learn about the diverse flora and fauna of the park.

15:00 - Car pick-up and transfer back to Hanoi. 

18:00 - Arrive at Hanoi.
