Day by day
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Head out for a welcome dinner featuring Khmer cuisine.
Proceed to Phare Circus, where the show tells stories of Cambodian history through a mix of music, dance, and acrobatics. You can also meet the talented performers.
Set out in the morning to explore one of the most illustrious temples, with fewer crowds.
Visit Ta Prohm, one of the most picturesque and memorable temples in the Angkor complex. The movie "Tomb Raider" was shot here.
Head to the ancient city of Angkor Thom and enter through its ancient gate.
Continue to Bayon Temple, located in the centre of the city, and see the enigmatic faces representing the 54 provinces of the Great Khmer Empire.
Go to the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King to admire their intricate bas-reliefs.
Stop at a local restaurant to enjoy tasteful Cambodian dishes.
Bike to the gem of the Angkor complex - Angkor Wat.
Return to the hotel.
Head downtown for wonderful views of the Siem Reap countryside, then continue through paddy fields and stunning scenery to explore the everyday life of Cambodians.
Visit the rice fields, local market, mushroom farm, rice wine distillation, lotus farms, and a village handicraft centre.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Return to town and take a break at your hotel before transferring to Angkor Silk Farm, where you can see the entire silk creation process, from growing food for the silkworms and breeding the worms to silk extraction, spinning and refinement, traditional dyeing, and looming. Angkor Silk Farm is part of Artisans Angkor, a not-for-profit organization set up to revive Cambodia's artistic pursuits and provide employment opportunities in poor rural areas.
Drive out of town on a newly paved road to the remote area of Kompong Khleang.
Walk around the area to explore the local housing style. The houses are built on stilts, adapted to withstand the flooding experienced during the rainy season.
Go kayaking down the river and discover the sunken fields and floating forests.
Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH) for your onward flight.
