The itinerary

Day 01

Hanoi to Ha Giang and Dong Van Discovery

Meet your local tour guide in the Old Quarter in Hanoi for pick-up and transfer to Ha Giang.
Arrive in Ha Giang and have breakfast.
Depart for the Dong Van Stone Plateau.
Admire the majestic scenery along the way.
See Bac Xum slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Co Tien mountain, and Yen Minh pine forest, dubbed the Da Lat of the Northeast.
Have lunch in Yen Minh.
Visit the cultural village of Lung Cam in Sung La commune, Dong Van district, where scenes from the two films 'Pao's Story' and 'Silence in the Deep' were filmed.
Proceed to Vuong King's Palace and the Lung Cu Flag Tower, the northernmost point of the country.
Go to Dong Van town and check in to the hotel.
Have dinner and visit the ancient town of Dong Van.
Exchange art with folk artisans at Coffee Old Town.
Stay overnight in Dong Van.

Day 02

Dong Van, Meo Vac and Return to Hanoi

Visit the ancient town of Dong Van and Dong Van ancient market to learn about highland market culture.
Depart from the hotel to visit Ma Phi Lung, known as one of the four great mountain passes in northern Vietnam.
Stop by the Meo Vac market.
Have lunch in Yen Minh and continue the journey to Ha Giang.
Learn about textile traditions in Lung Tam village, Quan Ba, or discover Tay ethnic culture in Phuong Do, Ha Giang.
Choose an optional boat tour and experience the Nho Que River.
Have dinner in Ha Giang and return to Hanoi at 21:00.
Arrive in Hanoi and get transferred to your hotel.
