Day 01

Guangzhou City Highlights and Historic Landmarks

9:00 AM: Meet your Guangzhou tour guide at the hotel and head to Canton Tower.
10:00 AM: Proceed to Huacheng Square, also known as Flower City Square, located in Guangzhou's CBD. It is an absolutely great place for photographing.
11:30 AM: Visit the Chen Clan Academy, built in 1890 during the Qing Dynasty, which houses a large collection of wood, stone, and brick carvings, as well as pottery and iron engravings.
12:30 PM: Go to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a famous historical scenic spot built in memory of Sun Yat-sen, the great revolutionary forerunner, followed by a delicious lunch at 1:00 PM.
3:00 PM: Head to Shamian Island, which literally means "Sandbank" Island, before proceeding to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street at 4:30 PM, one of the most popular and prosperous cultural centres.

Day 02

Parks, Temples, and Cultural Treasures of Guangzhou

9:00 AM: Visit Yuexiu Park in downtown Guangzhou, which features the Five-Rams Statue, one of the symbolic sites of Guangzhou, as well as Guangzhou Museum and beautiful lakes and hills.
11:00 AM: Proceed to the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King, the oldest and largest Han Dynasty tomb, discovered about 20 metres below the ground surface. Have a delicious lunch at 12:00 PM.
1:30 PM: See the marvellous Shishi Sacred Heart Cathedral, one of the 10 largest Catholic churches in the world.
3:00 PM: Head to Six Banyan Temple, one of the famous historical sites in Guangzhou, best known for the Flowery Pagoda with its colourful exterior.
4:30 PM: Stroll through Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street for shopping and scrumptious food and snacks.
