Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

• Transfer to your hotel after arriving at Kathmandu airport.
• Enjoy fresh meals served at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02

Kathmandu Old City, Swayambhunath and Patan

• Start your day with a hearty breakfast and visit the historic old city of Kathmandu.
• See the old King's Palace and Hanuman Dhoka.
• Come across the largest and oldest temple in the city, the Taleju Pagoda.
• Stop for lunch and then take a trip to Swayambhunath.
• Explore the stupa, the most important sanctuary of the Newar Buddhists, which rises on a hill above the Kathmandu Valley.
• Enjoy the afternoon sun, which offers a beautiful view of the city. Experience the Buddhist ceremony held at that time.
• After this, move to Patan city.
• Visit the royal city of Patan - the cradle of arts and crafts and the centre of Newar architecture. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03

Bhaktapur, Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath

• Enjoy a pleasant breakfast, and drive to Bhaktapur City.
• Explore the royal city of Bhaktapur - the cultural highlight of the tour.
• At Durbar Square, admire the Hindu temples, painted wood carvings, and stone animals.
• Proceed to Nyatapola, home to the highest pagoda in Nepal.
• Then move to Dattatreya Square in the east and marvel at the former priest houses with elaborately carved window frames made from Sal tree wood.
• In the afternoon, visit Pashupatinath on the holy Bagmati River.
• Next, go to Boudhanath, the religious centre of Tibetans living in Nepal and the largest stupa in the country.
• Discover the richly decorated gompa west of the stupa, where a superior statue of Maitreya Buddha is enthroned.

Day 04

Journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara

• Commence on a journey to Pokhara.
• Reach the city in the afternoon, at the foot of the famous fishtail mountain, Machapuchare.
• Take a stroll through the streets and visit Phewa Lake. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 05

Pokhara Stroll with Rupa Lake or Sarangkot

• Hike in the area of Rupa Lake or go on a day trip to Sarangkot.
• Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the hills.
• Go into the old town, where you will find mountain people trading in the bazaar.

Day 06

Pokhara to Tansen via Waling

• Make your way to Tansen, the former capital of the Pala kings, early in the morning.
• Stop in Waling to see the bazaar across the Kali Gandaki River.
• Drive up the switchbacks on the Srinagar Danda. You'll enjoy a great view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
• Stay in a beautiful mountain resort. The old Newari settlement is within walking distance.

Tansen to Lumbini

• From the foothills of the Himalayas, move to Lumbini - the birthplace of Buddha.
• See the famous Ashoka Pillar and Maya Devi Temple.

Lumbini to Chitwan National Park

• Drive from Lumbini to the famous Chitwan National Park.
• Spend your first night in a jungle lodge.

Day 09

Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park

• Enjoy a game drive in the national park.
• Go on a safari. Ride elephants through high elephant grass and dense jungle, then lay back. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 10

Chitwan National Park to Daman

• Enjoy the morning programme in Chitwan Park.
• Depart for the high pass at Daman.
• Enjoy a clear view of the entire range from Dhaulagiri to Mt. Everest. Overnight in Daman.

Drive from Daman to Dhulikhel

NamoBudda, Shanku and Panuti Excursion

• Drive to Kavre district for breakfast.
• Proceed to NamoBudda, one of the famous Buddhist places.
• Walk to the old village of Shanku.
• Finally, arrive at Panuti, a medium-old Newar city.
• Drive back to Dhulikhel.

Dhulikhel Hike, Dakshinkali Temple and Kritipur

• After a leisurely breakfast in the morning, go for a slight hike in the beautiful surroundings of Dhulikhel.
• In the afternoon, take a half-day trip to Dakshinkali Temple.
• Witness the picturesque village of Newari Kritipur.

Return to Kathmandu and Departure

• Return to Kathmandu in the morning.
• Drive to the airport to board your flight back home in the afternoon.
