Drive to Banjul and take the ferry across the Gambian River to the bustling north bank at Barra.
Pass through a number of villages typical of Gambia before arriving at Fathala Game Park, which is populated by many species of indigenous wildlife:
Roan and Kob Antelope
Buffalo
Defassa Waterbuck with its distinctive white rump patch
Patas monkeys
Guinea baboon, the smallest baboon species

Drive to Tobakuta, a town in the Saloum Delta.
Enjoy your lunch and relax for a while.
Board the boat for a sunset crossing to Shippo Island, where you will visit the village of Shippo.
Return to Tobakuta for dinner around the campfire and indulge in stargazing.
