Kompong Phluk Village and Siem Reap Cultural Discovery
Meet your Siem Reap tour guide and get picked up from your hotel at 08:00 am for the transfer to the floating village of Kompong Phluk.
Explore the local village upon arrival and learn how the community is largely dependent on fishing for survival. Visit the floating houses, schools, and markets before stopping at a local restaurant for lunch.
Return to the city and get introduced to Khmer arts, followed by a visit to Artisans Angkor, where jobs are provided based on traditional Khmer craftsmanship.
Proceed to the Angkor National Museum and see the state-of-the-art showpiece on Khmer civilisation and the majesty of Angkor.
After a short presentation, enter the Zen-like Gallery of a Thousand Buddhas, which has a fine collection of images. Other exhibits include the pre-Angkorian periods of Funan and Chenla.
Return to the hotel after the tour ends.
