The goofy thing about this bridge is that it doesn’t make it across the river. This UNESCO World Heritage site was first built in the 1100s but was battered by many floods. You need to pay to access the bridge, but you can get a discounted price if you buy your Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon ticket at the same time.
