Sea Caves, Lara Bay and Akamas Peninsula Adventure
- Start the day by arriving - or with hotel pickup - 30 minutes before departure at our main shop on Poseidonos Avenue, situated in the Aliathon Complex. At the shop, you will meet your Cypriot guides, who will provide the necessary safety instructions and explain how to operate your vehicle.
- Drive a quad bike or a UTV buggy 4x4 through the western part of Cyprus.
- Pass through Paphos Harbour, the Tomb of the Kings, and Coral Bay. During this part of the tour, you will also visit the Sea Caves area, which became even more popular after the 2011 shipwreck of Edro III, now visible very close to the shore.
- At the Sea Caves, relax, enjoy the sights, and take photos during a 10-minute break.
- Enter the Akamas Peninsula and explore this semi-desert peninsula of low-height flora. As a UNESCO Heritage Site, it offers around 230 sq km of off-road land to explore.
- Visit Lara Bay (Turtle Bay), a famous nesting beach for the rare Caretta-Caretta turtle species. Learn more about turtle conservation by reading the notes at the small information unit on the beach. If you are travelling during the hatching period, around August, there is a high chance of seeing the small turtles making their first steps to the sea.
- Enjoy a swim or relax at the local restaurant, where snacks and drinks are available for purchase, before the final drive back.
