7-Day Nepal Culture Tour with Pokhara, Nagarkot and Mountain Flight

Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Go on a scenic mountain flight. (1 hour)

Begin the Kathmandu city tour, which includes three UNESCO heritage sites in the valley:

• Pashupatinath: This temple is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus from all over the world. It is the temple of Lord Shiva, where dead bodies are cremated on the bank of the Bagmati River.

• Boudhanath Stupa: It is one of the biggest stupas in Asia.

• Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): It is located in the heart of the valley.

Drop off at Gokarna Forest Resort.

Drive to Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.

• Patan Durbar Square: Visit Mahaboudha Temple, Kumbeshwor Temple, Krishna Temple, the Golden Temple, and many other places in Patan. Also visit the handicraft centre.

• Bhaktapur Old Durbar Square: Witness a unique culture and a most pleasing display of craftsmanship. Bhaktapur is the only place in Nepal that has remained untouched by Western culture. Lion Gate, Golden Gate, the Art Gallery, the statue of King Bhupatindra, Nyatapola Temple, and the fifty-five-windowed Malla Palace are the living pride of Bhaktapur.

Drive to the Nagarkot hotel for an overnight stay.

Drive to Pokhara. The journey leads past many farm villages and towns with views of the mountains. (5-hour drive)

Go boating on Phewa Lake and explore the lakeside area.

Drive to Sarangkot hilltop, famous for its stunning sunrise views over the mountains, along with views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake.

Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Go on a sightseeing tour of Pokhara. Visit Seti Gorge, Davis/Devi or Pathle Chhago waterfall, and Peace Stupa for a sunset view.

Roam around Pokhara local market.

Drive back to Kathmandu.

Have a farewell dinner at a Nepalese restaurant and enjoy a cultural performance.

Depart for the airport.
