Day 01

Sigiriya, Dambulla and Matale Temple Tour

Start at 06:30 am from the hotel.
Proceed to see Sigiriya Lion Rock or Pidurangala Rock Temple, an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District.
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple and have lunch there.
Go to see Nalanda Gedige, an ancient complete stone temple near Matale (free entrance).
Explore the Matale Muththumariamman Hindu Temple, dedicated to Mariamman, the goddess of rain and fertility.
Return to Kandy.
