Day 01

Soweto History Tour with Regina Mundi and Vilakazi Street

Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and begin the tour.
Photograph the stadium that hosted the 2010 World Cup event.
Proceed to Diepkloof Extensions, also known as "rich man's acre." See the expensive houses and hear about the celebrities residing in that area.
Continue to Baragwanath Hospital and the biggest taxi rank in Soweto, which is used as an interchange for public transport modes.
Drive past the Orlando Towers, a prominent landmark in Soweto. Built in 1951 to supplement the spray pond cooling system, these towers are also used for bungee and base jumping.
Drive past the heritage sites of Orlando East, Orlando High School, Orlando Stadium, and Orlando Communal Hall.
Stop for a tour inside Regina Mundi Church.
