08:00 - Meet your Puerto López tour guide at an agreed-upon location and depart from Puerto López.
08:30 - Set out on an exciting bird-watching tour. Bird species most commonly seen here include the Guayaquil Woodpecker (Campephilus guayaquilensis), the Ecuadorian trogon (Trogon mesurus), and different hummingbirds such as the Baron's Hermit (Phaethornis baroni).
You may also spot birds of prey such as the King Vulture (Sarcorramphus papa) and visit the habitat of the Ornate Hawk Eagle (Spizaetus ornatus). The Ornate Hawk Eagle's primary food source is howler monkeys, which are found here easily.
12:00 - Enjoy a scrumptious lunch at Restaurant "Las Campesinitas".
14:00 - Walk through the rainforest to spot more birds while marvelling at the flora.
15:00 - Return to Puerto López.
