Drive 200 km west from Hamedan to Kermanshah.
Visit the Anahita Temple - dedicated to the mother goddess of abundance and guardian of water in ancient Persia.
Continue along the old caravan route to Bistoon, which dates back to the Middle Paleolithic.

Continue to visit Shahriar Tomb and the Kabood Mosque.
Overnight in Tabriz.
Head to Saint Mary Church of Tabriz.
Drive for 2 hours to visit Urmia Lake, an endorheic salt lake in Iran.
Overnight in Tabriz.
Drive to Sarein and observe rural nomadic life in Sarein villages.

Drive to Rasht. En route, visit Astara Valley.
Visit the virgin jungles and head to the beach near Anzali.
Visit the Gilan Rural Heritage Museum.

Drive to Qazvin. En route, visit Soltaniyeh, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre.
Upon arrival, walk around Qazvin and visit the Safavid Palace.

Go on a full-day excursion to Assassins Castle, a mountain fortress located in the Alamut region.
Spend some free time in the village before departing for the international airport.
