The itinerary

Day 01

Manado Highlights, Mount Lokon and Tangkoko Homestay

Meet your tour guide and get picked up from your hotel in Manado.
Drive to Tinoor Hill, which offers a spectacular view of Manado Bay and Bunaken Marine Park.
Trek to Mount Lokon, an active volcano with a flat, craterless top.
See the volcanic Lake Linow, with numerous hydrothermal vents spewing hot gases from the edges and depths of the lake.
Have a scrumptious lunch and visit the burial complexes at the Waruga Ancient Stone graveyard in Sawangan.
Visit Batu Putih village, which has a unique black sand beach.
Check in to the cottage/homestay at Tangkoko National Park and have dinner.

Day 02

Early Morning Tangkoko Jungle Tour and Return to Manado

Take an early morning jungle tour of Tangkoko National Park for 2 hours to see Tarsius and crested black Macaque. You can also indulge in bird-watching if you wish.
Head back to your homestay, take some rest, and have a delicious breakfast before checking out.

Return to Manado.
