Day 01

Explore Alcazaba and the Historic Heart of Almería

In the course of your tour, our Almería tour guide will take you to the following places:

The 10th-century fortified complex of Alcazaba.
The 16th-century Town Hall in Plaza Vieja, surrounded by elegant colonial residences.
Take photographs next to the statue of John Lennon of Beatles fame.
To get to know our capital, Almería, better, we propose a walking route lasting 4 hours. The guide will wait for your group at the arrival dock of your ship. After meeting, we will visit our fortress, La Alcazaba, the historic centre of the city with its most emblematic squares, and the central market. We will also see the museum exhibition of the Cathedral of Encarnación and the interiors of the temple. To end the tour, we invite everyone to taste our famous tapas, which made Almería the Gastronomic Capital of Spain in 2019. After a short free time, we will return to the boat by car.
