The itinerary

Day 01

Bhubaneswar to Nairi Village and Chilka Lake Experience

8 AM: Start your journey from Bhubaneswar. Nairi is about a two-and-a-half-hour ride from the city.
Reach the ancient fishing village of Nairi.
Visit Kankana Kuda by motorboat.
Take a long detox tour around the other two inhabited islands adjacent to Kankana Kuda, and enjoy Mahaprasadam from the deity's kitchen.
Tour a fisherman's house in the village. Also visit the monastery of the Lord in the Dolamandap Sahi of the village.
Observe a cultural program by the local villagers in the evening. You may also stay overnight in the village, though this is not mandatory.
Return to Bhubaneswar.
