4-Day Angkor Wat and Siem Reap Temple Tour with Roluos Temples

• Meet your Siem Reap tour guide and drive to Banteay Srei, a beautiful temple located about 35 km outside Siem Reap town.

• Stop at a local community along the way to observe daily life, taste some seasonal palm wine and palm sugar, and try other local products.

• Proceed to the Cambodian Landmine Museum and Relief Facility to learn about Aki Ra, who pioneered landmine clearance in Cambodia, before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant.

• Continue towards Siem Reap with a visit to Pre Rup, a temple mountain built in 962 by King Rajendravarman and made of brick, laterite, and sandstone.

• Visit the three temples at Roluos after breakfast, which used to be the capital city of the Khmer Empire. The temples - Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong - were Buddhist temples.

• View the gorgeous three towers with stone lions and intricate carvings at Preah Ko, followed by a visit to Bakong Temple to see the first temple-mountain made of sandstone during the Khmer Empire.

• Stop at the Genocide Museum and a local Buddhist pagoda before heading for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, visit a village and market to observe the everyday business of the locals and buy inexpensive gifts and souvenirs.
