Day 01

Arrival in Siem Reap and Angkor Wat

  • Transfer to the hotel with your Siem Reap tour guide.

  • After some food and rest, stroll through the beautiful pagodas and colourful markets of Siem Reap.

  • Depart on a sightseeing tour of Angkor Wat, which the Khmer people built to represent Mount Meru - the abode of the gods. The temple boasts intricate stone carvings and beliefs representing Hindu mythology and the wars fought during King Suryavarman II's reign. This temple is featured on Cambodia's national flag, as it serves as an epitome of the soul of the Khmer people.

Have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Apsara Dance Show

  • Depart on a sightseeing tour of Angkor Wat, which the Khmer people built to represent Mount Meru - the abode of the gods. The temple boasts intricate stone carvings and beliefs representing Hindu mythology and the wars fought during King Suryavarman II's reign. This temple is featured on Cambodia's national flag, as it serves as an epitome of the soul of the Khmer people.

  • Have lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the ancient city of Angkor Thom, which is surrounded by an 8-metre-high wall. Enter through the ancient south gate with four giant faces and continue to Bayon Temple at the city centre. This temple is popular for its 54 towers representing the 54 provinces of the Khmer Empire.

  • Visit the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King for their intricate beliefs.

  • Continue to Ta Prohm, which has remained in its original state and is now crumbling to the ground.

  • Visit Banteay Kdei, or the Citadel of Chambers, which is a 12th-century Buddhist monastery.

  • See the Srah Srang reservoir before heading for dinner while watching the Apsara dance show.

Day 03

Banteay Srei and Tonle Sap Lake

  • Travel to the temple of Banteay Srei, a 10th-century temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is also called the Citadel of the Women and is one of the finest pieces of classic Khmer architecture, known for its bas-reliefs.

  • Interact with the local community on your return from the temple and learn about their lifestyle.

  • Taste palm wine, palm sugar (seasonal), and other local produce.

  • Have lunch at a local restaurant before embarking on a boat trip on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia.

  • Take a local boat to Kampong Phluk, which is built on stilts on Tonle Sap. See the floating houses and flooded forests on your way.

  • Have dinner and an overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Siem Reap Markets, Artisans d' Angkor and Departure

  • Explore the colourful markets of Siem Reap with your Angkor guide.

  • Visit Artisans d' Angkor, which was established to support and promote Cambodian arts and crafts. Here, you can take a sneak peek at stone and wood carving, gilding, lacquering, and silk paintings.

  • Transfer to the airport.
