Kathmandu Durbar Square, Stupas, and Sacred Temples

Stop at Kathmandu Durbar Square. The areas near the palace have many temples and monuments of archaeological importance, including the Nine-storied Palace, Kastamandap Temple, Kumari Ghar, Kal Bhairabh, and a museum inside the palace.
Visit the magnificent Swayambhunath Stupa, situated on a hill that provides a breathtaking view of the Kathmandu Valley. It is considered a significant spot for Buddhist pilgrims.
Make your way to Pashupatinath Temple, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River and very popular among Hindu pilgrims. They come to pay reverence to Lord Shiva every year.
Explore the sacred Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world.
