Description
Commence this exciting trek from Lukla and reach Namche Bazaar through beautiful villages and stunning waterfalls. Hike to the Khumjung Village to capture the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Khumbila Peak and enjoy the hospitality of the Sherpa people. Finally, head back to Kathmandu and visit its major attraction, including Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Stupa.
Itinerary

Day 1- Arrival at Kathmandu
After you land at Tribhuvan International Airport, your private guide will pick you up.
Transfer to hotel at Kathmandu. Your guide will inform you about the details of the trek after you reach the hotel.
Freshen up and visit the local markets near Durbar Square.

Day 2- Fly to Lukla - trek to Phakding
On the second day of the trek, we will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla. The 30 minutes flight in a twin otter is beautiful and daunting at the same time.
Once we reach Lukla, we will start our trekking journey to Phakding.
We walk for about three hours while passing through beautiful villages. Capture the fascinating view of the mountains on your way to Phakding.

Day 3- Trek to Namche Bazaar
Your Everest trek guide will be assisting you during your trek to Namche. It takes around 6 hrs to complete this 12 km trek.
During your trek, you will come across traditional Sherpa villages and astonishing waterfalls.
Stop by for a delicious lunch before crossing the tallest suspension bridge in this area.
The uphill trek to Namche is tiring but recharge your body instantly after seeing the first view of Mt. Everest.

Day 4- A visit to Khumjung village
- After breakfast, we begin the trek from Namche to Khumjung and Kunde. Today's trek will be a little more arduous as it will take some time to get acclimatised to the surrounding Himalayan environment.
These villages will help you in understanding the true essence of Sherpa hospitality. Before continuing the trek, we will have an appetizing lunch made by the local people.
On our way back, we will come across colourful prayer flags, green fields and breathtaking views of Khumbila Peak.

Day 5- Trek down to Lukla
After spending a day at Namche Bazar and Khumjung village, we will descend to Lukla.
On our way back, we will cross the Dudh Koshi River and pass valleys with scenic views. We will reach Lukla after a five-hour walk.

Day 6- Fly Back to Kathmandu
On this day, we will fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu. We can enjoy the aerial view of the majestic mountains once again.
On reaching Kathmandu, we can visit some of the heritage sites like Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square or Swayambhunath Stupa.
We will have an authentic Nepali dinner on the last day in Kathmandu.

On this day, your private guide will drop you at the airport for your departure.
