The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Overnight in Arusha

Today, you will be accommodated in a hotel in Arusha.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch. Experience the nature of Tarangire National Park and enjoy your morning game drive.
In the late afternoon, drive to the cliff of the Rift Valley known as Matete Picnic Site. There, you will get a chance to enjoy views of the Tarangire River, where some of the animals come to drink water.
After lunch, continue with game viewing until late evening, then drive out of the park.

Dinner and overnight will be at the Tarangire campsite/Mtowambu.

Day 03

Journey to Serengeti and Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti, with a game drive and an en-route picnic lunch.
Have lunch at the main gate of Serengeti or under an acacia tree.
After lunch, continue with a game drive in search of the big cats until late evening.
Drive back to the Seronera campsite.

Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Public Campsite.

Day 04

Serengeti Exploration and Sunset Game Drive

After relaxing this morning, continue to explore the magic of Serengeti National Park until afternoon.
Head back to the camp for lunch and relax until evening.
Go back out for a sunset game drive in the late evening.

Return to the camp for a wine campfire, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Game Viewing En Route to Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart from Serengeti National Park and continue to Ngorongoro after an early lunch.
Enjoy game viewing on your way from Serengeti to Ngorongoro. You will arrive at Ngorongoro late in the evening.

Spend the night on the crater rim at Simba Campsite.

Day 06

Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Return to Arusha

Drive directly to the crater floor for a half-day crater tour with picnic lunch. Down in the crater, you will be able to see all of the Big Five animals, such as buffalo, elephant, lion, black rhino, and leopard.
In the late evening, drive up the crater rim and depart for Arusha.
If you have extra time, you can extend the tour to Zanzibar for relaxing on the beach and dolphin trips.
