The itinerary

Day 01

Kalaw Trek to Ywa Pu Village via Ye Aye Kan Forest

Meet your tour guide and start trekking from your hotel at 8:30 am.
Proceed southwest of Kalaw, crossing the protective Ye Aye Kan forest with its reservoir, and continue towards the viewpoint (9 km).

Enjoy a delicious lunch at the viewpoint with amazing views of the hills, along with tea and orange plantations.
Continue walking to Hnin Kha Kone village of the Palaung tribe, then reach Myin Daik village, which is close to a train station, where you will stop for a short tea break.
Proceed to Ywa Pu village of the Danu tribe for an overnight stay with a local family.

Day 02

Trek from Ywa Pu to Pattu Pauk Village

Have a hearty breakfast.
Walk to Lamain village, taking about 1:30 hrs, and witness beautiful vistas of different vegetable farms.

Continue towards Pinnweh village to see hand-weaving by old ladies.
Stop for lunch in Kone Hla after crossing Poukair village, taking about 3 hrs.
Trek to Pattu Pauk village of the Pa Oh tribe for approximately 2:30 hrs and stay overnight upon reaching the village.

Day 03

Trek from Pattu Pauk to Inle Lake and Naung Shwe

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the village.
Start trekking to Kyauk Su village for about 1:30 hrs while marvelling at the beautiful landscape.
Continue to Nan Yoke village, which will take about 30 mins, and have a short break at a petit shop.

Walk down to Tone le jetty, which will take about 2:30 hrs to reach, followed by a scrumptious lunch.
Take a boat and transfer to Naung Shwe or to your accommodation.
