The itinerary

1

Day 01

Arrival in Delhi and Drive to Agra

• Get picked up from your Delhi hotel or the airport.
• Meet the approved guide at the hotel.
• Proceed to the following monuments - Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, President House (outside view), Parliament House (outside view), India Gate, and the Lotus Temple.
• Leave for the city of love - Agra, via the Yamuna Expressway (3-hour journey). After reaching Agra, check into the hotel and rest.

Day 02

Agra Sightseeing, Fatehpur Sikri, and Jaipur

• Meet your guide and driver.
• Proceed to the magnificent monument Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan, the 5th Mughal Emperor, for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal (preferred time: sunrise).
• Head back to the hotel for breakfast and check out.
• Proceed to Agra Fort, built in the middle of the 15th century.
• Visit Fatehpur Sikri, which was made as a tribute to Sufi Saint Sheik Salim Chisti. Then head to Jaipur.

Day 03

Jaipur City Tour and Departure

• Visit Amber Fort, with an elephant ride provided to the main palace.
• Head to the City Palace, a building with a brilliant architectural view of both Hindu and Muslim elements.
• Proceed to Jantar Mantar, a beautiful observatory built by Raja Sawai Jai Singh.
• Move on to Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, a palace made for the royal ladies of the Rajputs to watch royal functions without being seen by men, and then proceed for lunch (not included in the cost).
• Drive to Indira Gandhi International Airport for departure.
