Begin your trek from Naya Pul and take in panoramic views of the expansive mountain range along the way before experiencing an enthralling sunrise over the Himalayas from the hilltop. Pass through small villages, observe the day-to-day lifestyle of ethnic people, and enjoy a boat ride on magnificent Phewa Lake before returning to Kathmandu.

The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350 m) and transfer to the hotel (B&B).

Day 02

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

After breakfast, go on a Kathmandu Valley sightseeing tour with your Nepali guide.

Overnight in hotel - BB plan.

Day 03

Drive to Pokhara

Early in the morning, drive to Pokhara (910 m) by tourist bus, which takes 6-7 hours.
The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek starts from Naya Pul and crosses the Modi Khola Bridge. Then, ascend along the left side of Bhurung Khola, passing many ethnic villages and farming terraces.

Overnight in hotel (B&B).

Day 04

Trek to Tikhedhunga

After breakfast, take a 1-hour taxi drive to Naya Pul.
Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,495 m) for 4.5 hours with your guide.

Overnight in a guest house (F&B).

Day 05

Trek to Ghorepani Base Camp

Trek to Ghorepani (2,850 m), the base camp of Poon Hill, with 6-7 hours of walking.

Overnight in a guest house (F&B).

Day 06

Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Ghandruk

Early in the morning, climb to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for panoramic sunrise views.
After breakfast, trek to Ghandruk (1,940 m) for 5-6 hours.

Overnight in a guest house (F&B).

Day 07

Trek to Naya Pul and Return to Pokhara

Trek to Naya Pul with 4-5 hours of walking.
Drive back to Pokhara and enjoy boating on Phewa Lake.

Overnight in a hotel (B&B).

Day 08

Return to Kathmandu

Drive or take a flight back to Kathmandu.

Day 09

Departure for the International Airport

Final departure to the international airport.
