Beijing's Imperial Landmarks and Mutianyu Great Wall

• Meet your Chinese guide in your hotel lobby at 8 AM and transfer to Tiananmen Square to commence the tour.

• Explore Tiananmen Square, a landmark in the center of Beijing with a fraught history.

• Walk through the Tiananmen Tower and tour the majestic Forbidden City, which served as the imperial palace for about 600 years, from 1368 to 1911, during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

• Break for lunch at your own expense. Your guide can advise you on where to eat and what to try.

• Continue to Mutianyu Great Wall by cable car.

• Take in the awe-inspiring view of the Great Wall traversing the lush mountains, with many watchtowers distributed along the ramparts.

• Ride the cable car back and then transfer to your hotel to conclude the tour.
