Day 01

Palembang City Landmarks and Heritage

Land in Palembang and begin your tour with a visit to the famous Asian Games venue, Jakabaring Sport City. It can accommodate more than 35,000 people and is used for numerous athletic sports, especially soccer.

Visit Cheng Ho Mosque, a mosque with Chinese architecture. It was founded on the initiative of senior members of the Chinese Islamic Association of Indonesia.
Feel the softness of Songket, the signature fabric of Palembang.
Stop by Baba Boen Tjit House, located in Lorong Saudagar Yucing. It is said to be 300 years old and combines old-school Chinese design with the traditional Palembang house style.
Make your final stop at Kiai Marogan Mosque, built in 1871 as a place for Muslims to pray. The mosque was built by Masagus Abdul Hamid.

Day 02

Pulau Kemarau and Cultural Palembang

After breakfast, visit Pulau Kemarau, an island in the middle of the Musi River, known as the setting of an ancient love story between a Chinese prince and a Muslim princess.
Set out to see Kampung Arab Al-Munawar, an ancient Arabian village with sophisticated architecture.
See Benteng Kuto Besak Plaza, which resembles St. Peter's Square in Vatican City, and Tugu Belido Fish, which is similar to the Merlion in Singapore.
Continue to the Palembang Culture & Historical Museum, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Museum, and the Great Mosque of Palembang.
Pay a visit to Kerajinan Leuker, known for the signature cupboard carving of Palembang.
