The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Trek to Ranu Kumbolo

• Arrive at Surabaya or Malang airport or your hotel, where you will be met by your Malang tour guide and driven to Tumpang. The journey takes about 4 hours from Surabaya and 1 hour from Malang.

• After breakfast, continue to Ranupane, which takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, begin the climb to Ranu Kumbolo, a trek of approximately 4-5 hours.

Day 02

Sunrise at Ranu Kumbolo and Return via Oro-Oro Ombo

• Wake up at 5 am to enjoy the splendid sunrise at Ranu Kumbolo Lake before walking to Oro-Oro Ombo to see the violet flowers, known as 'verbena brasiliensis vell'.

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast before returning to Ranupane basecamp, where a jeep will be waiting to take you back to Tumpang.
