Day by day
Meet your Peruvian tour guide and depart from Huaraz at 9:00 am to reach Llaca Valley and the base camp at 4400 m.
Continue from the camp up a steep hill until you reach the Moraine Campsite at 4900 m, after about 3 hours of walking.
Receive a briefing about the climb and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Wake up around 1:00 am and have breakfast at 2:00 am before heading towards the glacier.
Put on your climbing gear and ascend the glacier until you reach the summit. Enjoy the beautiful views from the top, and keep an eye out for the Cordillera Negra to the west, as well as mountains such as Tocllaraju, Chopicalqui, Huascarán, Copa, Ocshapalca, Ranrapalca, and Huantzan.
Descend by the same route to reach Moraine Camp while marvelling at the splendid scenery.
Continue to Llaca base camp, followed by your departure to Huaraz.
