Day 01

Arrival in Arusha and Pre-Safari Briefing

  • Meet your Tanzania tour guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Arusha Safari Lodge. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  • Gather at the hotel for a pre-safari briefing and an equipment check. Confirm that you have the appropriate mandatory medical coverage and travel insurance.

Dinner and overnight at Arusha Safari Lodge on a half-board basis.

Day 02

Lake Manyara National Park Safari

  • Depart from your hotel in Arusha and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the most diverse reserves in the country.

  • Enjoy a scrumptious picnic lunch in Lake Manyara, which features open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides, and is home to more than 350 species of birds. The park is also popular for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Campsite on a full-board basis.

Day 03

Olduvai Gorge and Serengeti National Park

  • Head to the marvellous Olduvai Gorge, which is known as the 'Cradle of Mankind'.

  • Visit Serengeti National Park, the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, known for its rich game-viewing opportunities.

Dinner and overnight at Pimbi Campsite on a full-board basis.

Day 04

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

  • Embark on an exciting game drive in the vast Serengeti National Park and see herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roaming about, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. View lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas, and jackals attempting to catch their prey.

Dinner and overnight at Pimbi Campsite on a full-board basis.

Day 05

Big Five Safari in Ngorongoro Crater

  • Depart for Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, where the famous Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo - can be sighted.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite on a full-board basis.

Day 06

Return to Arusha and Departure

  • Depart Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast and head back to your hotel in Arusha.

Know before you go

  • Our safari vehicles have a hatched roof for shade against the sunny African wilderness and feature extended bodies with roomy seats for comfortable sitting and stretching your legs. Every guest has access to a window seat. The vehicles also contain a fridge, power charging sockets, and VHF radio calls for easy and fast communication with the base office.

  • With prior arrangement, we can arrange a private transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) after the safari.

  • Tanzania visa: USD 50 per person on arrival; USA and Canada passport holders pay USD 100.

  • Balloon rides cost USD 500 per person.
