Mountain Guna is located near the city of Debre Tabor, in the South Gonder Zone of the Amhara Region, Ethiopia. It is 130 km away from Bahirdar, the capital city of the Amhara region, and lies on the way from Gondar to Lalibela, 35 km from Debre Tabor town. The mountain stands at an altitude of 4281 msl and is the third-highest mountain in Ethiopia. It is the source of international and local rivers.
