Day 01

Judean Desert Monasteries and Jericho City

Meet your tourist guide in Bethlehem and learn about monasticism, the Judean Desert, and the Jerusalem Desert.
Drive to the Monastery of St. Theodosius.
Visit Mar Saba Monastery.
Proceed to St. George's Koziba Monastery in Wadi Qelt.
Continue to the Jericho City Monastery at the Mount of Temptation.
Have lunch in Jericho City, followed by a visit to St. Gerasimos to see the Lion Monastery in the Jordan Valley.
Visit the baptism site, St. John Monastery, on the Jordan River.
Drive back to Bethlehem.
