Kyaikthalae Village and Twante Cultural Tour
Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Yangon and transfer to Nann Thida Jetty in an air-conditioned vehicle.
Proceed to Twante (Kyaikthalae Village) by local ship.
Go sightseeing by trishaw, with 1 trishaw for 2 people.
Receive a warm welcome at the community lodge. A talk will then be given by the community leader to explain more about the village and the people this project currently supports.
Visit the villagers' homes to learn about local industries, including bamboo basket weaving and sewing.
Explore the fields of the local farming community to learn about the creation of natural fertilizer, the cultivation of crops, and poultry farming. This will be followed by lunch.
Stop at Mingalar monastic school and greet the children during their recess.
Conclude the day with a visit to Twante's pottery kiln.
Drive back to Yangon.
