Kyauktan and Thanlyin Cultural Highlights

• Pick up from your hotel in Yangon and drive to Kyauktan.

• Visit the National Races Village and learn about Myanmar culture, traditions, and heritage by interacting with the locals.

• Continue to Thanlyin and see the ruins of the Portuguese Church, a Catholic church built by an Italian Barnabite missionary in the center of the city.

• Head to Kyaik Khauk Pagoda and see the two cemeteries in its compound - one belonging to the ex-king of Taungoo and the other to Minister Padaitha Yarzar, a well-known poet of the Konbaung Era.
