The itinerary

Day 01

DAY-1 Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyoe

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Kyaikhtiyo via Bago.
Visit Kyat Khet Wine Monastery where a thousand monks take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence.
Continue to Shwemawdaw Pagoda and the Kanbawza Tha Di Palace.
Arrive at Kyaiktiyo, one of Myanmar’s biggest landmarks, which is famous for its religious importance.
Admire the most significant point of Kyaikhtiyo- the “Golden Rock ", a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff.
Enjoy the sunset on the hill top, as you spend the night at the hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 02

DAY-2 Kyaikhtiyoe-Bago-Yangon

After breakfast, enjoy the sunrise from the Golden Rock.
While returning back to Yangon, pay a visit to Kyaik Pun, Shwethalyaung, Htauk Kyant War Cemetery, in Bago.
