Explore the beautiful yet mystical Rinjani National Park on Lombok island, a mountainous landscape in North Lombok Regency that covers about 41,330 hectares. This 3-day trek takes you through Sembalun village to the Sembalun crater rim, up to the summit of Mount Rinjani - the third highest volcano in Indonesia - and onward to the lake, hot spring, Senaru crater rim, jungle, and waterfall. With its unearthly charm and magnetic appeal, this national park offers an enchanting trekking experience far from the ordinary.

Day by day
Leave for Sembalun village at 7:00 am.
Start your trek on arrival in Sembalun village.
Reach position 1 (1300) after 2 hours of walking, then continue in another 50 minutes to position 2 (1500), and then to position 3 (1800).
Take a break for lunch.
Head to the Sembalun crater rim (2639), watch the sunset, and camp.
Start climbing to the summit at 3:00 am.
Reach the summit at 6:30 am to watch the sunrise.
Head down to the lake and hot spring.
Have lunch, then climb up to the Senaru crater rim to watch the sunset and camp.
View the sunrise from the crater rim.
Head into the jungle.
Visit the waterfall and head back to Sembalun.
