5-Day Mount Ararat Trekking Tour with Summit Climb and Camping

• Eat breakfast at a hotel in Dogubayazit.

• Later, pack your equipment into a minibus and drive to the foot of Mount Ararat.

• Stop near Cevirme Village at 2,200 meters. Your equipment will be loaded onto horses by porters, and you will start walking to Yesil Yayala Camp (Base Camp, 3,200 meters).

• After 3-4 hours, reach the campsite, where you will pitch your tents.

• Afterwards, hot drinks and a meal will be served.

Overnight at the Base Camp.

• After breakfast, ascend to Camp 2 at 4,200 meters and return to Base Camp. This walk will help your body prepare better for the higher altitude.

• If the group prefers an alternative route, a greener and more scenic walk up to an altitude of 3,900-4,000 meters can also be arranged.

• Later, return to Base Camp for dinner and rest.

Overnight at the Base Camp.

• After breakfast, pack your equipment onto horses and begin the ascent to Camp 2 at 4,200 meters.

• After reaching the campsite, pitch your tents, have dinner, and prepare yourself for the climb to the summit of Mount Ararat the following day.

Overnight in Camp 2.

• Have a very early wake-up call, at about 1-2 a.m.

• Eat breakfast, drink hot tea or coffee, and begin the ascent to the summit.

• After 5-7 hours, reach the summit at 5,137 meters, where you will have an opportunity to take photos and celebrate your successful climb.

• Afterwards, begin the descent to Camp 2, where you will rest, have lunch, and pack your things.

• After a rest, continue descending to Base Camp, where you will pitch your tents, eat a hot meal, and stay overnight.

• After breakfast, begin the descent to Cevirme Village, where minibuses will be waiting.

• Head back to Dogubayazit and to the hotel.

• In the afternoon, if you are not very tired, you can visit Ishak Pasha Palace, located 7 km from Dogubayazit, as well as Meteor Crater and Noah's Ark Museum.
